Supermoon UFO Creates Contrasting Speculations

The amazing beauty of lunar phenomena was enjoyed by many people as a fairly regular moon activity, but Daily Mirror has given a twist about it, making the phenomena a chance to declare the existence of aliens or at least give wild speculation on the topic featuring a question mark at the end.

According to the paper, a possible extraterrestrial ship was observed flashing in front of the moon on Sunday. The moon was seen 13% larger – at most – than the average from the ground that day.

supermoon ufoThe paper includes a footage of the moon showing something flying past the lunar surface.

Unfortunately, scientists have one very clear explanation for this apparent moon anomaly.

When the Supermoon took place, it coincided with the Perseids meteor shower. This particular meteor shower is affecting planet Earth at regular intervals. It is considered as the largest annual meteor shower as a result of the Comet Swift-Tuttle.

A meteor in the sky could be a good explanation for the light object. Experts also provided the following proposals if it is not a meteor:

  • The International Space Station, which is visible on Sunday over New Jersey where the video was filmed.
  • A bird
  • Another satellite
  • A speck used to create a hoax

On the flipside, the object seen flashing in front of the big moon could also be considered as UFO since no one could tell its exact true identity and it was seen flying. UFO enthusiasts would likely say that it was an extraterrestrial spaceship while experts would resort to the explanations given above. So, one thing is certain right now, both sides are giving speculations.

Mysterious Lights Over Toronto Trend On Social Media

Mysterious lights in the night sky triggered trending topic on UFOs in Twitter on a Sunday. New York resident Sarah Chun posted two videos to YouTube, showing a series of mysterious lights floating above Yonge St.-Sheppard Ave. neighbourhoods on a Saturday night.

However, police Officer Const. Craig Brister attributed the mysterious activity to a quadcopter, a popular toy helicopter in the area. Brister was on patrol on Saturday evening and posted his view about the lights after someone showed him the video of the strange lights.

Meanwhile, Chun tried to get a closer look of the spectacle from her balcony on Saturday night, after seeing the lights while working on her computer.

She says that she first noticed flashing lights, particularly the diagonal lights that were apparently shooting upwards. She initially suspected a helicopter flying with night lights but wondered when the object was not moving, flashing with lights. She had no idea on the identity of the lights or the object.

Images and videos have made rounds in the internet. The #ufo and #toronto even trended on Twitter. Sgt. Barry White of 32 Division reveals that the lights were also seen by several officers and they also believe it may have been a toy helicopter. However, they could not find a craft similar to it.

When asked for a comment, NORAD spokesman Julie Roberge says they observed nothing strange on radar over Toronto skies and received no calls about the incident.

Nav Canada, a private organization tasks to monitor Canadian airspace, says through its spokesman Michelle Bishop that they did not receive any calls coming from pilots about the lights above Toronto.

Spokesman of the Greater Toronto Airport Authority Corrinne Madden says that they also did not receive report.

Two UFOs Fly Low Over Two Texas Towns

The technical possibility that the truth is out there is sometimes the only reason why people around the world are interested looking up the sky. These UFO enthusiasts would surely be more interested seeing the actual UFO in the sky.

In yet another UFO sighting, residents in two Texas towns gathered in Austin and Gainesville to witness some unidentified flying objects last week.

A witness from Texas reported an encounter with a square-shaped UFO flying low. According to a witness report, the mysterious aerial object had four lights that produced a low-humming sound.

The witness reported that he observed an apparent low-flying object moving from the east towards him. The witness observed two red and two yellow lights, providing the look of a compact square as there was a very little space between the lights. It appeared that one of the sides was the object’s leading edge and not one of the angles, according to the witness.

Meanwhile, around 11 in the morning on Thursday in Gainesville, another Texas witness reported having seen large-triangle shaped UFO along with other several people on the ground. This object was flying low over the neighborhood and left the small community baffled in its identity. The witness said that the lights were horizontally lined up before the object disappeared as it speed away.

Texas is currently having a UFO Alert Rating of 3 on a scale of 1 to 5, according to MUFON.com. The Lone Star State is the fourth highest in the U.S. when it comes to UFO reports. For reference, California has the highest UFO reports with 102 reports in May while Texas has 30 reports in the same period.
